I notice that this blog has nearly reached a huge milestone.  In just a day or so, it will reach 1 million views in the past 2 years.  I can't fathom my work being that popular, but yet...for some reason...it is.  Given my recent dry spell, it makes it even more amazing to me.

If you regularly read my captions, please take a moment to leave a comment to let me know what you like about my captions.  Here are some potential questions to answer to help me, but feel free to ask or suggest anything:

• Is there something I've been doing that makes my captions more appealing to you?

The Jokess

This is another caption I did as part of a scavenger hunt.  The item was a Rule 63'd cosplay girl.  I had fun with what I found in my image search.  Believe it or not, the Sailor Moon pic is less disturbing than the other one I found.  I still shudder a bit when I think about it.

Calculating

I had this photo on my drive for a very long time.  I just didn't know how to use it before today.  By dumb luck, a member of Rachel's Haven issued a caption scavenger hunt challenge for a girl in a straight jacket.  Here's what resulted:

I'm especially happy with the way the masking effect of the background turned out.  I think it adds a whole extra layer of the internal struggle to find a way out.
