Just for Fun

Since the last caption was so dark, here's a simple one to lighten things up. Let your mind wander where it may on how the change happened...

This one is a little darker than I usually tend toward...hence the added noise to the photo and the vignetting. I tried to keep it on the lighter side with the ending though. It gave me an excuse to use one of the images I 'photoshopped' a few days ago too.

Worth It

Here is a simple caption I threw together using the new animated PNG technique. The caption itself isn't that strong, as it was more an exercise in combining the animated image with my existing caption style.

UPDATE: Google Docs is acting strange for the APNG images. Not sure if the content is flagged as "inappropriate" or if it is just a server glitch. Anyway, the caption is now (hopefully temporarily) hosted at FileFap. I hope this works.

Update 2: Reloaded the files to Google Docs in case it was just a server error. Keeping the alternate link below just in case though.

Update 3: After having the images go inaccessible again, I've added a title screen to the front end of the sequence. Let's see if that is enough to confuse any content filter looking at the first frame. I honestly never thought that hosting the images would be the hardest part of the process.

An Experiment

I've been looking for ways to take my captions to the next level. As part of that, I've been experimenting with how to 'photoshop' the images to give motion to the transformation process. I'm limited on source images I can work with at the moment, but I hope that I'll be able to improve on the process over time.

Please let me know what you think...and if I'm on the right track with this.

P.S. Sorry for those using Internet Explorer...that browser does not support animated PNG images. I'm sticking with animated PNG due to the limited color space of animated GIF. Firefox and Opera browsers both support APNG.
